Hi there, I’m Mylynn - a freelance brand strategist and marketing generalist based in Austin, Texas. Over the years, I’ve worked with brands like Desert Door, Made In, Capitalize, and BigCommerce, building a career that blends strategy with creativity.
Much of my experience has been shaped by working at fast-growing startups, where I’ve worn a lot of hats and moved quickly—leading holistic communication strategies, managing agency partners, and launching campaigns that drive results. I got my start in social media, but my work has grown to include brand marketing, community building, and content strategy.
At the core of it all? I love helping brands show up with intention and connect with their audience in meaningful ways.
These days, I offer services in social media consulting, community development, influencer and brand partnerships, and content creation.
I’m currently freelancing with Atlas Coffee Club, leading UGC/creator partnerships, creating content that actually performs, and teaming up with growth to make sure every campaign hits the mark. It’s been a great space to flex my skills in social and content, but I’m on the lookout for my next full-time opportunity - somewhere I can bring my in-house marketing toolkit to a team that’s energized by creative, strategic work.

Desert Door Texas Sotol is a premium spirit, hand-crafted in Driftwood, Texas. ‘Sotol’ is both the name of the spirit and the desert plant they make it from. All of the sotol used to create the spirit is wild-harvested in the West Texas desert. Desert Door is distributed in 30+ states, UK, Italy and France.

Capitalize is a New York City-based financial start up company on a mission to make saving for retirement easy. Their online platform allows users to digitally locate their old (most likely, forgotten) 401(k)s and transfer it seamlessly into an IRA at any financial institution without the paperwork and phone calls of the past.

STAG is a menswear retailer founded in Austin, Texas with brick & mortar locations in Austin, Dallas and an online store at stagprovisions.com. STAG specializes in sourcing contemporary clothing with classic roots and is a destination on South Congress for timeless sportswear, unique gifts, accessories, furniture, art, and vintage goods.
